Genshin Impact Version 5.2 Update Overview
Saurians have unique abilities that have helped players explore the various landscapes in Natlan since version 5.0. Qucusaurs and Iktomisaurs, the two new Saurians, will allow players to use their special aerial skills and vision to reach high places, find hidden paths and treasures, and fight enemies on the ground.
Qucusaurs were once used by the Flower-Feather Clan to patrol and protect the skies of Natlan. They can glide long distances and use phlogiston to climb higher, roll, or speed up while flying. Meanwhile, Iktomisaurs are respected by the Masters of the Night-Wind for their wisdom. They can jump to great heights, and their unique vision helps them see things that others cannot.
An ancient city called Ochkanatlan is located northwest of the Flower-Feather Clan. This once-great city now suffers from Abyssal contamination and is occupied by a rampaging dragon. Players can team up with Qucusaurs, Iktomisaurs, and other Saurian companions to explore this dangerous area and face these threats. A new little companion named Cocouik will assist in removing the Abyssal contamination. Further, players will discover a different dragon-human interaction in the past.
In Version 5.2 of Genshin Impact, two elite warriors will join the roster. Chasca, known as the Peacemaker of the Flower-Feather Clan, is a five-star Anemo bow wielder. She has a special weapon called the "Soulsniper," which lets her float and attack from the air, making her stronger in exploration and combat. Chasca can shoot multi-elemental bullets. When she teams up with Pyro, Cryo, Hydro, or Electro characters, those bullets change into matching elemental types. This ability makes her great at using Swirling elements in battles. Defeating enemies with Chasca also helps restore Phlogiston, which makes her an essential ally for extended fights.
On the other hand, Ororon, Masters of the Night-Wind member, is a four-star Electro bow wielder and support character. He works well with Electro and Hydro teammates. Ororon can earn Nightsoul Points when his teammates trigger Nightsoul Burst or when they deal Electro or Hydro damage after he uses his Elemental Skill. When Electro-charged reactions or Nightsoul attacks hit enemies, Ororon enters Nightsoul's Blessing, dealing Electro DMG on and off the field. He can summon the Supersonic Oculus, which taunts enemies nearby. Moreover, Ororon can draw power from graffiti and runes by charging Aimed Shots, entering the Spiritspeaker state. He also speeds up the team's gliding, making him valuable in and out of battle.
In Version 5.2's Event Wishes, new characters Chasca and Ororon will be introduced in the first half, along with a rerun of Lyney. The second half will bring back Zhongli and Neuvillette.
New stories are unfolding in two new tribes. In Archon Quest Chapter V: Interlude "All Fires Fuel the Flame," players will help Natlan's Flower-Feather Clan recover from Abyssal contamination with help from the Captain and Iansan. Meanwhile, the main seasonal event, "Iktomi Spiritseeking Scrolls," invites players to participate in Citlali and Ororon in investigating a strange accident within the Masters of the Night-Wind. Players can earn free rewards such as Primogems and the exclusive 4-star sword, "Calamity of Eshu," through combat challenges, assembling woven scrolls, and gathering scattered spirits.
New Abyssal enemies, including the boss Tenebrous Papilla, can also change forms to become stronger foes, waiting for challengers in the new areas.
- Further, Genshin Impact Version 5.2 brings significant updates to improve gameplay. It enhances the Imaginarium Theater, Serenitea Pot, and Artifacts.
- In the Imaginarium Theater, players will experience smoother gameplay with faster combat transitions, better character recommendations, and more details about enemies.
- In the Serenitea Pot, gathering wood will be easier because of new optimizations.
- A new "Lock Assistance" feature allows players to quickly lock multiple Artifacts based on suggested settings or customized plans.
The release date of the Genshin Impact 5.2 update is November 20, 2024, featuring new Natlan Saurians. With cross-progression and co-op capabilities, you can enjoy the game's expedition across various platforms: PC, Android, iOS, and PlayStation.
