Planet Party Time, F2P social sim/party game, announced

Coming to PC in 2025, NetEase Games revealed Planet Party Time, the free-to-play galactic social simulation/party game. The initial gameplay test on Steam will give players worldwide their first chance to play it from May 15 to 19 (PT). More details below.

Overview and Gameplay

Planet Party Time, a brand-new free-to-play game created by Universe X Studio, a ThunderFire group under NetEase Games, offers a special hybrid gaming experience by combining social party gaming with social simulation and management gameplay.

Players can effortlessly switch between designing, constructing, and nurturing their own unique planet and delving into one of more than 120 exciting minigames and modes with up to 32 players.

As alien dinosaur Dino, players are sent to establish a Cube Planet and make it a major fixture in the Cube Galaxy. Players must transform their Cube Planet from an abandoned outpost into a thriving galactic society. Play minigames on the Toy Planet, the wealthiest planet in the Cube Galaxy, to collect "Miracle Cubes" and "Game Cartridges" to unlock new content and build for this mission. These exceptional resources allow you to expand your Cube Star, create farms, shops, and magnificent buildings, and host players who wish to visit each other's planets.

Key Features and Modes

Forming Prosperity: With users able to decorate, grow, and plan to turn their own cube planet into the galaxy's best vacation spot, Planet Party Time provides a complete social simulation experience.

Various Minigames: Featuring more than 120 minigames across several genres, including racing, platforming, and puzzle, up to 32 players in these games compete against one another to be the final Dino standing.

Diverse Modes: At launch, Planet Party Time will have six modes. This includes offline single-player, Event Calendar (Swiss-system, elimination tournament, party play), UGC Room Mode, Esports (quick match, tournaments), and Game Room Mode.
