Solo Leveling is declared Anime of the Year during the 2025 Crunchyroll Anime Awards. The famous action-packed portal fantasy series garnered nine outstanding wins out of 13 total nominations.
The 9th annual Anime Awards took place in Tokyo, Japan, on May 25 and were hosted by well-known entertainer Jon Kabira and voice actress Sally Amaki for the third consecutive year.
Many Sung Jinwoo fans eagerly await news about Solo Leveling Season 3, but there is still no confirmation. In the meantime, it is great to see the manhwa-turned-anime TV show getting so much recognition.
Besides Solo Leveling, other anime titles that received multiple awards were Frieren: Beyond Journey's End (4 wins/20 nominations), Dandadan (3/22), Attack on Titan (2/2), Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba (2/8), Look Back (2/3), and Spy × Family (2/6).
