Esports World Cup (EWC): Free Fire runs from July 10 to 14, 2024, featuring 18 top teams competing for the biggest slice of the
USD 1M prize pool. Check out the tournament's format and participating teams below, as well as where you can watch the matches.
Tournament Format
This week, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, will host the eagerly anticipated Esports World Cup: Free Fire. The stakes are high for all eighteen squads, as the victorious team will not only receive the largest portion of the USD 1,000,000 prize pool but also a ticket to participate in the Free Fire World Series (
FFWS) Global Finals 2024 set in Brazil later this year.
The tournament will be conducted in three stages. Teams will be divided into three groups of six during the Knock-Out Stage, which will take place from July 10 to 12. Two groups will compete each day. The top 12 teams, as determined by the points they have accumulated over the course of the three-day event, will subsequently advance to the Point-Rush Stage on July 13. During this stage, all points will be reset, and teams will compete to gain headstart points in order to advance to the Grand Final. Ultimately, the Grand Final will commence on July 14, during which the teams will battle it out in a race to the top.
