Valorant maker Riot Games announced the launch of Corrode, the newest competitive map that's set to debut with Season 2025 Act 4 on June 25. In celebration of the hero shooter game's fifth anniversary, the Patch 11.00 Update will also introduce the Phaseguard collection. See more details about these additions and the new battlepass below.
Corrode, A Salt-Covered Map
Set in Omega Earth that's climate-ravaged, Corrode turns a historic French castle town into a salt mining facility for Radianite. The design contrasts medieval buildings with industrial equipment, offering players a more controlled and tactical experience.

Some features we can see in this new map are two Spike locations, a three-lane layout, and layered fortifications and fall-back positions. It is also designed to reduce overwhelming aggression of abilities.
Upon release, Corrode will immediately enter the competitive pool. For the first two weeks, Valorant players can practice the latest map in a competitive setting without worrying about deranking by losing 50 percent less Ranked Rating (RR) for losses and gaining 100 percent RR for wins. Further, the Swiftplay mode will have a dedicated queue for Corrode from June 25 to 30.
Phaseguard Skin Bundle and New Battlepass
This update brings the Phaseguard Collection, a set of skins that showcases modern technology and tactical design. The bundle includes the Ghost, Bulldog, Vandal, Outlaw, and a new melee skin called the Splitter.
