Indonesia's Team Vitality won the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Women's Invitational (MWI) title at the 2025 Esports World Cup (EWC) without losing a game throughout the Riyadh-based tournament.
The powerhouse Indonesian female MLBB team defeated Gaimin Gladiators via a clean sweep 4-0 in the Grand Final, extending their unbeaten streak to include wins over Team Liquid PH, FUT Esports, Falcons Vega MENA, and Twisted Minds Orchid. Three Bo3, one Bo5, and one Bo7 were played without a loss.
The absolutely amazing run earned Team Vitality the majority of the USD 500,000 prize pool (that's USD 150K) and valuable 1000 Club Championship points. After winning three of the four MWI titles, Vitality remains the most dominant team in Mobile Legends women's.
To recall, the Philippines' Omega Empress defeated Vitality at the MLBB Women's Invitational at the 2024 Esports World Cup, ending the Indonesians' three-year winning streak. Vitality are finally Esports World Cup champions after this stunning MWI 2025 win.
Team VIT's Michelle "Chell" Siswanto said:
I just want to prove that no one can do it better than us. I think that it was meant to be ours all along.
Team Vitality's Siswanto sisters Chell and Cindy Laurent "Cinny" feel vindicated after last year's upset. Even though they lost their grandfather days before the 2024 competition, they played. Level Up, an Amazon Prime documentary, tells the story of their experience.
After a week of great play, Team Vitality mid player Cinny was named tournament MVP. She received an additional USD 10,000 and the MVP title for her key role in the team's unscathed record.
Meanwhile, our PH representatives, Team Liquid and NAVI, placed 4th and 5th-8th, respectively. Still, this is an impressive feat for our Filipina MLBB players. – PinoyTechSaga
