TFT Set 15 KO Coliseum, Pro Circuit (TPC), Paris Open bared

Teamfight Tactics (TFT) is back with KO Coliseum, its most anime-packed set yet. The new Set 15 KO Coliseum marks a milestone for the auto battler game's competitive scene with the launch of the TFT Pro Circuit and the biggest-ever TFT Open, happening in Paris in December 2025.

Riot Games released TFT Set 15 on PBE servers on July 15 and will officially launch it on PC and mobile platforms on July 30 with League of Legends patch 15.1 (2025.S1.1).

Filipino tacticians can gear up and get ready for magic girls, a Mighty Mech, and Shonen warriors in Whisker's ultimate fighting tournament. With new traits, a "Power Up" mechanic, and more than 120 augments, it's a wild ride for both hardcore tacticians and casual anime fans.

Anime-themed Champions

KO Coliseum features anime-style battles between Convergence legends.

Channel your inner magic girl with Seraphine, the 5-cost Star Guardians leader whose anime-inspired Ultimate Friendship Bomb spell hits all opponents within a 2-hex radius.

TFT's first Runeterra original, Kobuko, comes back as a 2-cost Mentor, along with Braum, Twisted Fate, Gwen, Yone, Varus, and Zyra, the 5-cost heavy hitters.

Monster Trainer (3G Lulu)

First 3-unit TFT champion Lulu shines out. In Lulu, players can choose from Kog'Maw, Smolder, or Rammus, who level up progressively.

Prismatic Traits

Prismatic Traits have traditionally required TFT gamers to hit +2 or +3 of a particular trait to trigger a significant power surge, a deliberately tough goal. To activate their game-winning Prismatic power in KO Coliseum, players must hit the trait's highest breakpoint and complete a mini-quest. Star Guardians lets players spend absurd amounts of Mana and gather all 3 Mighty Mech Augments, among others.

New Power Ups, Augments, and Cosmetics

Power Ups have invaded the arena, helping players climb the Coliseum. The Power Snax opens a champion's armory of empowering options. This should allow players to make any champ a superstar and use the Power Up to power up a different champion when they become bored or locate a better unit.

70 of KO Coliseum's 120 Augments are new content and mechanics. If you dominate with Soul Fighter units, the Tournament Favorites Augment rewards you with loot. Tiny Team turns Star Guardian, a big vertical, into a powerful small splash. Take advantage of Diamond Hands' Crystal Gambit cash-out trait to feast or famine.

The KO Coliseum update offers artistic new cosmetics: Spirit Blossom Lillia Chibi, Prestige Spirit Blossom Ahri Chibi, High Noon Thresh Unbound, and the mythic Veiled Village Arena skin.

Further, Spirit Springs, Into The Lands Beyond, God Weapon, Portal of the First Star, Crystal Caress, and The Way of the KO are among the anime-inspired Portal Skins in TFT Set 15.

As in Cyber City, users can customize their Portals, Arena, Boom, and Tactician.

Roles Overhauled

With the release of KO Coliseum, TFT is adding melee carry, bizarre but fun specialized units with varied ultimates and attacks, and a more engaging gameplay experience.

Different roles affect how units generate Mana and how champions interact with gameplay systems. Tanks (defense-heavy champs that take damage for the team) now get 5 Mana every attack and from damage. They'll also be targeted more often due to their involvement in aggression.

These changes won't impact how you play TFT, but they'll fix edge circumstances like splash damage giving the enemy extra Mana.

TFT Pro Circuit (TPC) and Paris Open 2025

KO Coliseum introduces the Teamfight Tactics Pro Circuit, the game's Tier 1 tournament series, in August 2025 in all four regions to provide competition to the game.

Besides improving public viewing, TPC strives to create a more stable and watchable atmosphere for top-tier players. Three tournaments will take place during the KO Coliseum update, and the first TPC competition is coming soon. Starting August 29, Tier 1 pros—32 of the game's best players who qualified through TFT Cyber City to represent each region—will debut.

Moreover, the TFT Open returns in December 2025 bigger than ever. Riot Games' biggest TFT event of the year will take place in Paris' Porte de Versailles with staggering 768 player slots—50% more than the Macao Open.

This expansion will let more participants enjoy TFT's open-bracket LAN event and spend the weekend playing against other top players from across the world. Pre-sales for competitor passes begin September 8. Pass prices and pre-sale information will be released on August 20.

TFT Paris Open will honor the community's talented creators in an Artist Alley. More dev panels, Side Events, and co-streamer meet-and-greets await. TPO will also have a 4v4 event on Day 2 for Day 1-eliminated competitors with a prize pool.

TFT Set 15 is gonna be an exciting update, and I'll be glad to know your planned comps and builds. – PinoyTechSaga
