Magic Chess Go Go's first international tournament, the highest stage for strategists, has been announced by Moonton Games.
From September 12, 2025, all players can join MCGG Rising Stars (MRS), the new in-game feature that qualifies participants for the auto-battler chess game's initial international tournament. Open to all, no registration is required, enabling players to compete for the inaugural worldwide MCGG title.

Open Qualifiers and Division Finals are the first two stages of qualification using the new in-game competition feature.
The Open Qualifiers span six weekends from September 12 to October 19, 2025. Like Mobile Legends Rising Open (MRO), it will be available from Fridays to Sundays.
The seven divisions of MCGG Rising Stars are Asia, the Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, Eastern Europe and Central Asia (EECA), Europe, and Latin America (LATAM).

To become a Rising Star, competitors must complete six challenging stages. Individual strategy, vision, and luck will make each game interesting, allowing underdogs to beat the best. Clear each stage to earn exclusive titles and a special skin, honoring players as they reach the Division Finals. Detailed rules will be released later.
The top divisional Rising Stars will compete in the Division Finals to qualify for the first MCGG worldwide tournament. This is the final chance for budding strategists to win the inaugural international MCGG championship. Details on the MCGG international event, including qualifying divisions, will be announced later.
Every MCGG player can shine through MCGG Rising Stars (MRS). The new feature lets regular gamers become stars through solo play and low entrance restrictions. Just recently, MCGG launched Season 3: Cosmic Traders. The update added a commander ranking system, a redesigned bidding arena, and improved synergy to improve every combat.
If we recall, on March 16, 2025, Magic Chess Go Go held its first competitive esports tournament, the Indonesia Community Tournament (MCCT ID). The competition attracted thousands of players and spectators to determine the nation's first MCGG champion. MCCT ID III, the current version, has over 1 million views across the game's channels, demonstrating community support for the ecosystem.
