Magic Chess: Go Go developer MOONTON officially revealed the GO1 World Championship. The auto-battler game's first offline global annual tournament recognizes MCGG's global esports expansion.
With the Grand Finals on January 25, 2026, during the M7 Carnival, prospective esports athletes can compete globally. The inaugural GO1 champion will share the limelight with the upcoming Mobile Legends world winners at the M7 World Championship—one of mobile esports' biggest stages.
Twenty-four players from Asia, including Eastern Europe and Central Asia (EECA), Europe, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Middle East and North America (MENA), Latin America (LATAM), and the Philippines, will compete in the GO1 competition.
Players can battle to secure their spot on the global stage through the in-game competition feature, MCGG Rising Stars (MRS) Season 4. On November 16, 2025, MRS Season 3 named Sergio "SkAnDominc" Pablo Rojas Mamani from the LATAM region as its champion, proving that MCGG's democratic and accessible gameplay allows regular players to become champions.
Sergio shared:
It's hard to believe that I'm the champion—but here I am! I never expected a game I play every day would take me this far. I'm grateful for the opportunity to represent my region and to go up against the best players in the world. I'm looking forward to competing again at the GO1 World Championship and being surrounded by people who love the game and esports as much as I do.
The M7 Carnival will host the GO1 Grand Finals, turning Jakarta into a worldwide esports arena. The weekend will be filled with celebrations in "MCGG Land" for both players and fans. Live MCGG and Mobile Legends watch parties, interactive events, food, music, and entertainment will all be part of the esports and gaming festival.
The first GO1 champion will be crowned at the event, honoring both the most renowned mobile esports athletes in the region and the top Auto Chess talent around the globe. The tournament's specifics will be revealed at a later time.
Gao "Skyhook" Chong, Magic Chess: Go Go producer, bared:
