This includes new highs for Indonesian, Tagalog, and Malaysian language broadcasts, as well as on TikTok Live. These results set a new benchmark for future mobile esports events.

Jakarta hosted the M7 event from January 3–25, 2026. The seventh iteration of MLBB's major international championship returned to the country after the M4 (2023).

Indonesia's Creative Economy vice minister Irene Umar graced the M7 finals day, and she shared:
This is the energy of Indonesia [that] we [are witnessing at] the opening of the M7. As the host [nation], I want to start of by saying thank you to MOONTON Games for infusing [Indonesian] culture into the Opening Ceremony... This is a moment to celebrate. This is a moment that reminds each and every one of us that the gaming industry is here to stay. This is a real industry. This is a real sport!

Global gaming and entertainment festival M7 Carnival took over Jakarta from January 23 to 25. Fans experienced six interactive zones, live activations, and esports. The M7 Carnival did more than compete, converting the city into a music and culture festival. Singer-songwriter Stephanie Poetri and 88rising labelmate Nona headlined the Main Stage. The halftime show featured a special performance of Sizzle, the M7 Theme Song, reflecting the M Series' ferocity. With pop culture and live entertainment, the M7 Carnival propelled the M Series, showcasing its significance in gaming and entertainment.

As Aurora PH emerged as M7 champs, Pinas parin ang pinakamalakas (MPL PH is still the strongest). Congratulations on defending the title and clinching the 6-peat. – PinoyTechSaga
