Mobile Legends, first confirmed title for ENC 2026

Mobile Legends is confirmed to be the first of 16 titles included in the first Esports Nations Cup 2026 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, in November, the Esports World Cup Foundation announced.

The Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) main event will feature a round-robin group stage and a single-elimination playoff in the ENC closing week.

32 national teams are expected to vie for the ENC 2026 gold medal.

Schedule

  • Start Date: November 23, 2026
  • End Date: November 29, 2026 (grand finals)

All stages of the main event will be conducted entirely on LAN.

Format

  • In the first stage, 32 national teams will compete in four eight-team round-robin groups. The best-of-two format applies to all matches. The top four teams from each group advance.
  • The second stage will include 16 national teams in a single-elimination playoff tournament. Before the best-of-seven grand finals, all matches will be best-of-five.

Ranking System

The new Mobile Legends nation ranking system will include international, regional, and certain national club competitions.

Official Mobile Legends tournament placements will earn clubs points, which will be split among all teammates.

The top five players on the presented national roster will get points for the national ranking.

The national ranking cut-off is August 2, after the Mid Season Cup (MSC) at Esports World Cup (EWC) 2026.

Qualifier Info

MLBB will feature 32 national teams at ENC 2026. A new MLBB nation ranking system will invite 16 national teams directly. 14 national teams will qualify from the August regional online qualifiers. Two wildcard teams are invited.

The MLBB ENC 2026 qualifiers will be held from August 14 to 16. Double-elimination bracket matches will be played in each of these regions:
  • North America (1 slot)
  • South America (1)
  • Middle East + North Africa (2)
  • Western Europe (2)
  • Eastern Europe + Central Asia (2)
  • East Asia (2)
  • South Asia (1)
  • Southeast Asia + Oceania (2)
  • Africa (1)

Recap of MLBB at EWC 2025

Mobile Legends brought premier competition and worldwide representation to Riyadh for the Mid Season Cup (MSC) and Women's Invitational (MWI) at the Esports World Cup 2025.

MSC 2025 ended with Team Liquid Philippines winning the Grand Final 4–1, while MWI witnessed Indonesia's Team Vitality win 4–0. Beyond the results, Mobile Legends filmed moving storylines of Team Liquid's Sanford "Sanford" Vinuya and Team Vitality's Chell and Cinny in the "Level Up" docuseries.

At EWC 2025, 24 nations competed in Mobile Legends main events.
