MLBB: PH eyes 6th straight win at M7 World Championship

Moonton on January 3 held the M7 World Championship Send-Off Event at Pop Up Katipunan in Manila, Philippines, to launch the Philippine team's campaign to fight on the biggest Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) esports platform in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Our PH representatives, Team Liquid (TLPH) and Aurora Gaming PH (RORA), will face each other in their first Swiss Stage match on January 10, 2026.

The event was a unified call of support for the Philippines' M7 World Championship representatives after they #DePHendingTheLegacy with a sixth straight M-Series title.

Further, the event featured the PH's campaign, "Two Teams, One Flag," signifying how local rivals TLPH and RORA set aside their competition to unite on the international stage. Both teams aim to defend the M-Series title for the Philippines, driven by national pride and responsibility.

Team Liquid embarks on M7 on its 'Golden Road journey' to win all major local and international titles in one year. Karl "KarlTzy" Nepomuceno, a famous jungler, wants to become MLBB esports' first three-time world champion. Aurora Gaming PH is another representative committed to maintaining the Philippines' international dominance.

The inauguration of the M7 Mural, which commemorates the Philippines' global rise, was a highlight. Melvin Rodas' painting depicts the worldwide M7 narrative using Philippine flag colors to symbolize national pride, creative identity, and the MPL PH community's support of the teams.

Niel Anthony Lajot, MOONTON's PH esports marketing communications manager, stated:
At M7, Team Liquid and Aurora Gaming PH don't just represent their organizations, they carry the hopes of an entire nation that believes in them. As part of this journey, we unveiled the M7 Mural — a visual tribute to everything the Philippines stands for in MLBB esports. This mural is more than just art. It is a symbol of our legacy, our unity, and our belief.

Artist Melvin Rodas was asked about his inspiration for making the M7 mural, and he said:
I wanted to capture the festive chaos and energy of Mobile Legends: Bang Bang. With the long history of Philippine teams winning the competition, I wanted to use art. I want fans to feel what I felt—that I contributed something to the history of winning. I want them to feel that they're part of it as well, and to feel how we dominate the competition.

Filipino graphic designer and illustrator Melvin Rodas combines powerful visual narrative with his love of basketball. He created artwork for Kevin Durant's Manila tour that showcased his journey and impact in the NBA. Rodas also illustrates NBA players and culture. M7's collaboration with the NBA is a major step for MOONTON Games' global entertainment expansion.

MOONTON also gave the Filipino teams official Send-Off player kits to prepare for the tournament.

Also announced is the M7 Watch Party. It is scheduled for January 23–25, 2026, at the Mall of Asia Music Hall to unite the community during the tournament. In this dedicated venue, Team Liquid and Aurora Gaming PH fans can watch, celebrate, and support them.

Meanwhile, fans can also watch the livestream of M7 World Championship matches online via official MLBB pages on Facebook (@MLBBEsportsOfficial and @mplph.official).

Let us support our country's bid for a historic 6th consecutive M-Series title. I would welcome your cheering comments for TLPH and RORA. – PinoyTechSaga
