Otaku Pop Fes is set to debut in the Philippines in Okada Manila on April 25–26, 2026, fusing anime, music, games, cosplay, and live entertainment, CBZN and CyberE announced.
Per organizers, the multi-day event will "deliver an authentic Japanese pop culture experience through licensed content, curated exhibitions, and live performances by Japanese and local artists."
Mr. Osaki Akinori from CyberE said in a presscon:
Otaku Pop Fes was created to bring authentic Japanese pop culture experiences closer to fans in the Philippines. We want to create a space where people can enjoy anime, music, and live performances in a way that feels genuine and respectful to the culture.
At the presscon event at Okada Manila's Glass Ballroom, cosplayers Myrtle Sarrosa, Prince, Een, Awie, and Charess were also present. They are all recognized for anime, cosplay, and pop culture involvement. Their presence emphasises the event's strong local fanbase connection and commitment to bringing creators, influencers, and fans together to celebrate Japanese pop culture.
Otaku Pop Fes PH 2026 - Event Overview
The event will use two Okada Manila venues. The Ballroom will serve anime exhibit booths and stage programs. Meanwhile, Cove Manila will host cosplay, Japanese pop culture, and evening concerts.
Otaku Pop Fes PH 2026 will attract Japanese pop culture fans, old and new, with licensed IPs, interactive activities, themed booths, and stage shows.
Among the revealed anime exhibitors are Dan Da Dan, Naruto, Tougen Anki, Tokyo Revengers, and Witch Watch. Meanwhile, the games zone includes Shadowverse: Worlds Beyond and Umamusume: Pretty Derby.
Live music is a highlight of Otaku Pop Fes. Among the acts that will perform at the event are the K-pop girl group UNIS, Eir Aoi (known for IGNITE, Sword Art Online OST), and Hiroshi Kitadani (We Are, ONE PIECE).
The organizers said Otaku Pop Fes PH 2026 will feature Japanese musicians, local performers, and special guests, with further announcements coming in the following weeks.
