Zenless Zone Zero Version 2.6 Update, "Encore for an Old Dream," will be available on February 6, 2026 (GMT+8), the HoYoverse team revealed.
The idol-inspired update serves as an interlude following the concluding chapter of Season 2, returning players to the well-known streets of Sixth Street. It incorporates themes of love and aspirations into the annual Gilded Carrot Day celebrations in New Eridu.
The ZZZero V2.6 patch, which is centered on the eagerly anticipated debut of Angels of Delusion (A.O.D), the idol group that includes new agents Aria and Sunna, as well as a festive lineup of rewards and new in-game events.
Zenless Zone Zero Version 2.6: Two New S-Rank AOD Agents
As Gilded Carrot Day approaches, New Eridu sparkles with excitement, yet uneasiness lurks. An urgent commission concerning an illegal intelligent being brings the Phaethon duo back to Sixth Street to work with Jane Doe. At the 404 Error music venue, the Angels of Delusion (AOD) are practicing for their first performance with an unusual vocal coach, and the holiday mood persists. Even while the Hollows loom and uncertainty remains, dreams sparkle, songs find their audience, and someone will always cherish those precious moments.
Aria and Sunna will be the first AOD members to fight in ZZZero Version 2.6. These two S-rank agents can coordinate their attacks.
Aria is the main vocalist of the group and an Ether Anomaly agent who wields two different forms: an idol projection and a construct form. She excels in the use of charged attacks to inflict high burst damage on opponents with Attribute Anomalies and is particularly skilled in engaging enemies directly.
Sunna, on the other hand, is exceptional at empowering her Attack and Anomaly allies in her capacity as a Physical Support agent. Bubblegum, her companion, employs Cat's Gaze to identify adversaries, which can be detonated to inflict damage and provide the entire squad with potent Attack buffs. Sunna activates her Ultimate Skill by swinging her oversized hammer, which inflicts a hefty burst of damage and initiates a Quick Assist that neatly brings teammates into combat.
Biggest Fan, the faithful fan club president, is the one behind the scenes who supports these two Angels of Delusion members. The S-Rank Bangboo tirelessly restores HP and can even enhance the squad's Attack when at least two AOD members are present.
Moreover, Aria and Sunna will receive brand-new skins, with Aria's costume boasting a unique dual-form design.
Additionally, the rerun banners of the Zenless Zone Zero version 2.6 will feature the S-Rank agents Yixuan (Auric Ink - Rupture) and Yuzuha (Physical - Support).
Players act as backstage personnel for the Angels of Delusion in "A Harmony of Delusions," the main event. Manage the group's training schedules and social media to lead them to rise in rhythm-based gameplay and an augmented Marcel Adventure with new maps and mechanics.
Meanwhile, Operation Matrix will be a new game mode for Hollow Zero. Three Primary agents, a Bangboo, and an Auxiliary agent team up in this game mode, which features weekly rotating themed stages with distinct mechanics and new Resonia and agent-specific Gears for strategic variation. Hollow Zero also adds a Sweep function to improve progression and exploration.
Moreover, Agents Harumasa and Lycaon will be upgraded, and Pan Yinhu will get a new limited-time outfit. Starting today, the Inter-Knot Membership event lets players earn free Polychromes through daily activities, including a 3,300-Polychrome login reward to celebrate Gilded Carrot Day. Players can also enter the "Gilded Surprise, Wonderful Boo-ns" holiday event from February 14 to 23, 2026, to win a share of a 4 billion Polychrome prize pool in daily lucky draws.
International fan support project "Sugar Rush: Cuteness Saves the World" will be launched to celebrate the Angels of Delusion's debut.
