The first CrossFire Legends Championship (CFLC) finally ended on February 8, 2026, after three months of rigorous competition.
While Evolution Team (EVO) from Vietnam won the tournament's first title, Filipino teams performed well at home. Kadiliman Esports (KDM) placed second and Vanguard Familia (VF) fourth, demonstrating the Philippines' expanding mobile first-person shooter strength. HeartFire (HF), another Vietnamese squad, placed third.
Thousands of Crossfire Legends fans attended the CFLC SEA 2026 Semifinals (February 7) and Grand Finals (February 8) in Manila. Meanwhile, live broadcasts on TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube garnered over 500,000 views, with peak concurrent viewership topping 40,000. The hybrid format showed tremendous in-arena and online audience enthusiasm.
The Philippines and Vietnam each had two teams in the Top 4 of the inaugural CFLC, creating a heated competition. The competition showed Pinoy teams KDM and VF can compete at the top regional level with tenacity and strategic depth.
EVO's consistency, discipline, and composure all throughout the competition added to the thrill. The Vietnamese team outperformed their opponents from the start to the end to win the tournament.
Teams played for the championship title and a part of the USD 45,000 prize pool in the CFLC 2025-2026 Grand Final, which also featured regional recognition.
In the Grand Final, EVO capitalized on important opportunities and made crucial plays under duress. At the championship, EVO Luji was hailed as MVP for his outstanding performance and constant contributions.
Southeast Asian teams, such as EVOS Esports, eArena, and FullSense, also participated in the tournament, indicating increased regional competition. Vietnamese and Philippine CF Legends teams' strong performances showed Southeast Asia's burgeoning mobile esports presence.
As a recap, Crossfire Legends, published by Level Infinite, was released on Android and iOS in Southeast Asia in December 2025. Regional testing (alpha and beta tests) preceded CFLC, the mobile FPS game's very first international esports tournament.
