Legend of Ymir on Tuesday launched its Season 2: Season of Cooperation update.
As announced during its 100 Days, the Norse-themed MMORPG would deepen its engagement with the Philippine community. Developer Wemade launched the new "Manila" server and a Filipino-specific content roadmap to honor its most engaged player base.
New Server in Asia: Manila
The "Manila" server launched today as part of the game's distinctive infrastructure, naming servers after famous cities.
The Philippines' prominence as a top player engagement hub prompted the server network of Legend of Ymir to include its first Philippine city.
Further, Wemade planned to increase localized assistance and marketing to improve the regional gameplay experience.
PH-Themed Disir and Companion Unveiled
Wemade is creating exclusive in-game elements with Philippine symbols to make Legend of Ymir more recognizable and interesting to local players.
The first one is Bakunawa, a new Disir based on the legendary Philippine sea snake. It is designed to encapsulate the creature's majestic and potent presence.
The other one is Solis, a Philippine national bird-themed Companion.
Per Wemade, these two new PH-themed content additions seek to give local gamers a distinct representation and collectible value.
Season 2: Season of Cooperation
This season emphasizes cooperation, unlike Season 1: Season of Growth. The adversary of yesterday may be your ally today. With new Valkyries, Companions, Disirs, Season Unique Monsters, and Season Equipment, flood the battlefield with blue.
Server Battles in the YMIR League let you prove your server's prowess and move to higher leagues. See the updated server fight rules and scoring system in-game, strategize, and win perfectly.
Companions can now grow. Level up or EXP Extraction to another Companion to boost their stats.
Server Transfer will be enabled again for gamers who couldn't transfer to previously opened servers or their friends' servers. To have an even more fascinating adventure, check the schedule in-game and switch servers.
Story Deck-registered cards grant extra stats when leveled. Use additional Patra Cards to level them up. However, certain Story Decks might not apply these effects, so verify beforehand.
Offline Events, Strategic Partnerships, 2026 Steam Launch
In March 2026, an offline community event will be held in Manila. Filipino Legend of Ymir players can connect, give comments, and rejoice at the gathering.
Wemade also wants to increase user touchpoints during this month through strategic marketing collaborations with Philippine local partners.
A Wemade representative also mentioned the upcoming 2026 Steam release of Legend of Ymir in addition to the launch of the Manila server:
Through the previous YMIR Cup, we witnessed the incredible passion our players have for deep, achievement-oriented gameplay. The launch of the Manila server and the development of localized content are tokens of our gratitude for the immense support from the Philippines. As we look toward our 2026 Steam debut, we remain committed to delivering meaningful content and experiences for our global audience.
To Pinoy Legend of Ymir players here, I eagerly want to know your thoughts on the localized content being created by Wemade. – PinoyTechSaga
