The V1.2.0 Update, "Roaring Thunder," of the open-world Wuxia MMORPG Sword of Justice was launched.
Per NetEase Games, this is a major update, and it introduces the legendary Dragonsvelte school, the School Change System, new gameplay experiences, maps, storylines, and updated outfit packs.
New School: Dragonsvelte
This update launches Dragonsvelte, the game's first new school. Practitioners in this school can use greatswords and longswords. They can also master thunder to create devastating attacks.
This new school comes with a sophisticated "School Change System" that gives players more strategic depth and flexibility.
Gameplay Innovations
New auto-chess spinoff Chess of Justice combines classical mechanics with the game's deep lore.
This update also added the 8v8 capture the flag battleground Stormblade Clash and the 12-player group dungeon Mirror Sky Pavilion. Players can recruit elite allies to defeat mysterious bosses, overcome trials, and win glory.
More Updates
Players can now explore the Eastern Edge Sea (a new sea region), Mirror Sky Pavilion, and Old Foes Return (a new storyline that continues their open-world adventures).
New outfits, including Spirit Deer (auspicious-themed skin), Cleardew Rain (tea-inspired skin), and Orchid Verses (calligraphy-themed skin), will delight SOJ players.
In addition, the party has been expanded to include the new Ethereal Pet, Spirit Pet - Qilin and Sirius, as well as the mounts Luminous Jade and Obsidian Spear, which include their Tier II evolution, Inferno Wrath. These additions complement the players' valiant spirits and provide them with two striking styles to select from.
