Mobile Legends X SexBomb Girls Collab kicks off

The collaboration event between Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) and the famous Filipino dancing and singing group SexBomb Girls (Rochelle Pangilinan, Aira Bermudez, and Mhyca Bautista) has launched, Moonton Games revealed. More details on this Summer Break campaign below.

MLBB X SexBomb Girls

Mobile Legends' pop culture collab with SexBomb Girls turns one of the group's most widely recognized dances into an in-game interactive experience.

As a recap, the SexBomb Girls became a nationwide success in the early 2000s with their daily TV presence, incorporating their songs, dance movements, and catchphrases into everyday life. Beyond popularizing "Get, Get, Aw," the girl group is said to have "raised a generation" by turning simple dances into shared cultural experiences before the social media era.

Mobile Legends, like the SexBomb Girls, has impacted how millions in the Philippines connect and compete online. MLBB, which turns 10 this year, has grown into a platform that unites communities, promotes local culture, and provides shared experiences for generations.

The collab event centers on the "Get, Get, Aw!" Battle Emote, based on the group's moves and energy. The emote, available for free from April 5 to 19, 2026, lets players express themselves in-game while honoring Filipino pop culture.

MLBB "Get, Get, Aw!" Battle Emote

With a community milestone challenge of 12 million emote claims, the campaign seeks to make the GET GET AW emote one of Mobile Legends Philippines' most claimed, unlocking tiered rewards and urging mass involvement. In preparation for its 10th anniversary, Mobile Legends' campaign demonstrates its capacity to combine worldwide gaming with local cultural idols.

Jay Wang, MOONTON Games' head of publishing (PH), stated:
At MLBB, we're always looking for ways to make the game feel more meaningful and closer to our players. Partnering with the SexBomb Girls allows us to bring a familiar and well-loved part of Filipino culture into the game in a way that feels fun and authentic. We hope this gives Filipino players a new way to express themselves, while also showing how gaming can bring people, culture, and shared experiences together.

Get Get Aw in the Land of Dawn

The collaboration brings SexBomb members Rochelle Pangilinan, Aira Bermudez, and Mhyca Bautista's personality and vitality to Mobile Legends.

The campaign's main music video is a Mobile Legends-themed remake of the "Halukay Ube" song.

The event is accompanied by in-game activities that reward new and active players. Players can get a free Elite skin by logging in and playing matches from April 5 to 18. The free "Get, Get, Aw!" Emote Event from April 5 to 19 lets users obtain the event's main reward simply by logging in for five days.

From April 9 to 12, free hero and skin trials in various game modes during the Battle Privilege Event improve gameplay. Exclusive merch, signed collectibles, and in-game rewards like skins and MLBB Diamonds will be unlocked as the community approaches the event milestone.

Rochelle on MLBB Collab: A Love Letter to Filipino Women

Rochelle sees the partnership as more than a creative refresh. Collaborating with Mobile Legends is a significant achievement for the group.

The OG Sexbomb leader said:
Malaking bagay ito para sa amin. Para itong patunay na naka-cross na kami sa bagong generation. Dati, kilala kami ng Batang '90s, pero ngayon, nakakatuwa na pati ang younger audience ay nakakakilala at nakaka-relate na rin sa amin. ("This is a significant milestone for us. It serves as proof that we've reached a new generation. We were once known mainly by the '90s crowd, but now it's truly rewarding to see a younger audience recognizing and connecting with us as well.")

Further, this new connection with a younger audience mirrors Rochelle's personal growth. The collab was an unanticipated turning point that challenged her age and opportunity views, she said on Facebook:
Life begins at 40.

Rochelle added that the group hopes their tale resonates beyond the collaboration. Their main message is that age should never limit you. Sometimes it feels like chances have passed, yet life opens new doors when you least expect them.

To MLBB players who are 'pinalaki' ng SexBomb, especially Millennials, and even older and newer generations, I would appreciate your feedback and thoughts on this collab. – PinoyTechSaga
