Legend of Ymir expanded its starter support event and added Indonesian language support, a new Disir Barongcat, and more regionally tailored content to improve the MMORPG game's localized user experience.
Per Wemade, the enhanced starter support event is designed to help newbies settle in faster. Staged check-in rewards, character growth materials, and equipment are available in its six-week progression program.
Players will obtain key rewards during level-ups to aid early progression. Rare- to Epic-grade items and level achievement rewards assist players in gaining combat power and transitioning into mid- and late-game content.
Moreover, Wemade is set to launch updates for existing and returning players. They said the update roadmap comprises expanded progression mechanisms, co-op gameplay features, raid content, and clan-based battle content for further progression, collaboration, and competitive play. Further growth systems and combat upgrades will be released in phases.
Further, Wemade added Indonesian-specific content in the update. Along with Indonesian language support, it added Barongcat, a new Disir based on the Indonesian folklore creature "Barong Ket."
Event rewards will include buff items inspired by classic Indonesian cuisine, introducing Indonesian culture into Legend of Ymir.
Wemade said it aims to create regionally tailored experiences beyond language support through the initiative. It wants to extend culturally appropriate content for gamers in other regions and markets based on its expertise in operating localized content and servers for Filipino players.
