LoL SEA Demon Hunter Arena Tournament sets $3,500 prize pool

Demon Hunter Arena Tournament, featuring the new 3x6 game mode of League of Legends, offers a 3,500 USD prize pool, Riot Games announced.

Compete together with your two best teammates for a shot at the prize pool, in-game rewards, and a sponsored trip to Mid-Season Invitational (MSI) 2026.

Registration is open until June 2 for players across the LoL Southeast Asia region, including the Philippines, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, and Malaysia.

The Hunt (Open Qualifier) will run from June 4 to 7, with the top six teams qualifying for the Reckoning (Grand Finals) on June 14, where tournament finals, creator showdowns, and more await viewers. More details on the format, schedule, bounties, and showmatch below.

Format

  • The Hunt (Open Qualifier)
    • Schedule: June 4 to 7, 2026
    • The open qualifier is point-based. Each round has three matches, with lobbies reshuffled after each. Team placement in each match determines points, with 1st place receiving 6 and 6th place receiving 1. After three matches, the top teams in the standings move to the next round based on their accumulated points.

  • The Reckoning (Grand Finals)
    • Schedule: June 14, 2026
    • The remaining six teams play the Checkmate format in the finals. Squads reach "check" status at 15 points. If a team in "check" status wins a match, they are automatically crowned champion. Otherwise, the team with the most points wins if no team triumphs after 6 matches.

Sponsored Trip to MSI 2026
First-place team earns a sponsored trip to the MSI 2026 tournament in Daejeon, South Korea, from July 9 to 13, including airfare, lodging, and three Lower Bracket Final and Grand Final tickets. Terms and conditions still apply.

The top 6 teams of the Demon Hunter Arena Tournament will take home cash prizes based on their final standings.

In-Game Items
Teams in the top 192 will receive Fiendish Frenzy Orbs, with higher placing receiving more. All three primary roster players will receive rewards.

The Reckoning

On June 14, 2026, the Reckoning, the final day of the LoL SEA Demon Hunter Arena Tournament, features the remaining six teams, a creator showmatch, and open watch parties.
  • 6:00 PM - Creator Showmatch (3 matches)
  • 7:30 PM - Grand Finals and Watch Parties (4-6 matches)

Creator Showmatch
The day begins with a creator showmatch. One lucky viewer will join each creator's squad in each game, for a total of 6 winners/game across three games. Follow the participating content creators' social media pages to watch the livestreams or for a chance to be part of the showmatch.

Watch Parties
Creators will organize viewing parties for the tournament grand finals following the conclusion of the showmatch, with live giveaways occurring throughout the event.

Event Prizes
The following rewards are available to players who participate in the creator showmatch and giveaway winners from the watch parties.
  • Showmatch Participants: Fiendish Frenzy Orb x10 (18 prizes total)
