Wild Rift Wild Rounds Pilipinas Open 2026 sets P1M prize pool

Riot Games Philippines is giving aspiring local League of Legends: Wild Rift teams one last chance to join Wild Rounds: Pilipinas Open 2026, as it extends registrations until June 2 at 12 noon.

Per Riot PH, the third season of the mobile MOBA game's premier grassroots tournament features a Php 1 million prize pool and an experience that's "more welcoming and equally rewarding." Tournament winners will receive Php 500k, second placers 250k, and third placers 125k.

The champion team then represents the country at SMASH 2026, Riot Games' cross-regional tournament and Wild Rift community event, in South Korea this November.

Wild Rounds: Pilipinas Open 2026 registration began in May. The competition will have two splits, with Split 1 running from June 4 to July 12:
  • Interested squads can register until June 2 through this link: https://ift.tt/Algxok5.
  • Teams will be split into four groups, and the announcements will be made on Wild Rift's official social media pages.
  • The group stage matches begin on June 13–14 for Groups A and B, June 20–21 for Groups C and D, June 27–28 for Groups E and F, and July 4–5 for Groups G and H.
  • The top two from each group stage match advance to the July 10–12 playoff qualifiers.
  • The top four playoff qualifiers will progress to the September community playoffs, while the bottom four must play Split 2's group matches.

Split 2 registration runs from July 13 to August 2, with qualifiers scheduled for July 23–26 and group stage matches slated for August weekends. The Road to Smash playoffs set for September 25–27 will pit the top eight teams against each other for the chance to represent the country in SMASH 2026.

Through Wild Rounds Pilipinas Open 2026, Riot Games PH will host influencer-led tournaments, content creator activations, and community events to provide fans and players with new ways to celebrate, compete, and interact with the Wild Rift community.

The Wild Rift competitive ecosystem includes the community-first Wild Rounds Pilipinas Open. It highlights local talent, entertains, and ignites Pinoy pride to boost community engagement.

Lara Antonio, regional community lead at Wild Rift - APAC, shared:
With the strong return of Wild Rounds: Pilipinas Open this year, we remain committed to lowering the barriers to entry for aspiring grassroots communities to compete on an international level. And beyond this capstone tournament, we're building an even more inclusive and engaging local Wild Rift ecosystem to champion sustained connection and shared experiences among our Pinoy Wild Rift players and fans.
