The Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Global Skin Design Contest 2026 was launched, offering a total prize pool of USD 49,000 (roughly PHP 3M).

Beyond cash prizes, excellent participants whose concepts align with Mobile Legends' artistic direction may be awarded remote jobs to co-create future hero skins with Moonton Games' global creative team.
Ma Hui, Mobile Legends' senior concept designer and judge of the contest, said:

Wenjun Lin, Mobile Legends' chief artist and also a contest judge, stated:

Leading game art and concept design figures from around the world will judge the contest:
- Ma Hui, MLBB's senior concept designer
- Wenjun Lin, MLBB's chief artist and a renowned Computer Graphics (CG) artist
- Adrian Smith, internationally recognized concept artist known for his work on legendary IPs such as "Magic: The Gathering" and "Warhammer 40,000"
- Ben Zhang, main concept artist of "Overwatch," and contributor to the visual design of titles such as "Diablo" and "Hearthstone"
The involvement of the four judges shows the contest's desire to go beyond a community campaign. It is a global hub for creators, professional artists, and the Mobile Legends creative team to discuss hero skin design across styles, cultures, and artistic backgrounds.
In addition, the skin design contest reinforces Moonton Games' culture and future focus on creativity. They invest in creative disciplines that create the Mobile Legends experience worldwide, including hero design, world-building, esports presentation, community-led content, and music.
