Moonton Games has announced the Wild Card Group Draw for the largest-ever edition of the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) Mid Season Cup (MSC), set to take place at the 2026 Esports World Cup in Paris, France.
At the 2026 EWC, 25 top Mobile Legends teams will compete in the MSC tournament, which will debut in Europe.
The Wild Card will feature 10 teams—up from eight in past editions—competing for the last Main Stage spot. This year, MLBB Esports introduced dedicated qualification pathways for South Korea, India, Thailand, and Western Europe, demonstrating its global expansion.
MSC at EWC 26 Wild Card Draw Results
The Wild Card begins with a tough elimination format, in which 10 teams compete in two groups for a Main Stage slot.

After missing the MSC 2025 Wild Card, Team Falcons MENA and The MongolZ, out to redeem themselves, are leading the field with international experience. In good form after winning the first MLBB Super League Thailand Season 1, King of Gamers Club joins a wide cast of contenders.
The Wild Card pits seasoned worldwide competitors against rising regional contenders in a furious battle for Mobile Legends' greatest stage.
The draw for the Main Stage's last 16 teams will follow the Wild Card. To foster ecosystem growth, MSC 2026 introduced a new structure to make championship contention harder. MLBB Esports wants to boost the competitive landscape and make Mobile Legends a top esports discipline.
MLBB Esports globalization and MWI at EWC 26
The event reflects the continued global expansion of MLBB Esports, supported by a new five-region competitive structure spanning the Americas, East Asia, EECA, EMEA, and Southeast Asia.
Following MSC's transition into a global championship in 2023, MLBB Esports will further expand its international presence through its debut at the 20th Asian Games and the hosting of the M8 World Championship Finals in Türkiye.

Meanwhile, the final 16 squads for the MLBB Women's International (MWI) at EWC 2026 have qualified for the tournament's most globally diverse edition yet, with qualification pathways covering over 60 regions and new Western Europe qualifiers.
