Riot Games PH unveils Wild Rift 2026 Roadmap

The SMASH 2026 quest begins. The Wild Rift 2026 Roadmap, unveiled by Riot Games Philippines, is more accessible and community-focused.

Per Riot PH, besides a more competitive community championship, creator showmatches will make the Wild Rounds: SMASH the ultimate celebration of the MOBA game's global community. It has also launched the Wild Rift Creator and Nexus Elite Programs, creator-led initiatives to standardize mobile gaming content creator collaboration.

The 2026 Wild Rounds: SMASH features a worldwide, community-first celebration that turns player enthusiasm into participation, content, and ongoing engagement through accessible competition, content creator expression, and in-game encounters. SMASH 2026's third edition will include the Community Champions Cup and Creator Showmatches.

Top players from each market will headline this year's Community Champions Cup track, which promises spectacular action from worldwide communities battling for Wild Rift supremacy. At SMASH 2026, Wild Rounds Creator Track winners will compete in Creator Showmatches.

Road to SMASH 2026: Format and Qualifications

Riot Games is organizing playoffs for Filipino, Brazilian, Chinese, South Korean, Vietnamese, and Turkish gaming communities and content creators before SMASH 2026.

Wild Rounds: Pilipinas Open, which began June 4, is the official local qualifier for SMASH 2026 in the Philippines. Team competition at Wild Rounds: Pilipinas Open's Split 1 continues until July. Teams interested in the local open competition can register for Split 2 on July 6. Wild Rounds: Pilipinas Open will conclude on September 25–27, with the top eight teams from both splits competing for the Php 1 million prize pool.

Further, Riot Games PH will open a creator track for Wild Rounds: Pilipinas, from August to September 2026, challenging gaming creators to Wild Rift's ARAM and 2v2 game modes.

Wild Rounds: Pilipinas Open community and creator track winners will fly to South Korea to represent the country at SMASH 2026 in November.

Patch Updates: 6C (Growing Us) and 6D (Rhythms of Memory)

Riot Games also unveils its new 6C and 6D Patch Updates to boost SMASH 2026 worldwide.

6C: Growing Us and 6D: Rhythms of Memory follow February and April releases 6A: Ionia Celebrations and 6B: Wild Circuit. Players will soon journey from the snow-covered Ionian Rift of 6A and mini-seasons and experimental labs of 6B to the worldwide anniversary celebration of 6C and nostalgic festivities of 6D.

On 6B: Wild Circuit, Pilipinas Open Split 1 is underway. 6C will be the major patch for Wild Rounds: Pilipinas Open qualifiers and Wild Rift's anniversary in July. The SMASH 2026 finals in Korea will coincide with the release of the 6D update in late September.

Two New Programs for Content Creators

With the Wild Rift Partner and Nexus Elite Programs, Riot Games PH is aggressively expanding its influencer network.

Private Discord access gives Wild Rift Partner Program participants early access to game updates. Members will attend exclusive Wild Rift events and workshops to strengthen their relationship.

Some creators will lead the Wild Rift PH ecosystem as Nexus Elite. Cosplayers, casters, competitive players, community leaders, and mobile gaming stars are on the roster, such as OHMYV33NUS, WISE, Karma, Yamada, Guiang Gaming, Raux TV, Kapitan Pugo, Vannybear, Rebengga, Kitz Cua, Razziebinx, Trio Pebbles, Coach Rec, and Manjean.

Lara Antonio, regional community lead at Wild Rift APAC, stated:
Filipinos are some of our most passionate Wild Rift players in the world. Their love for the game has inspired us to continue growing our Philippine ecosystem and open more doors to anyone who wants to take part in it. By bolstering our community competitions and connecting with creators of all sizes, we are confident that we will put more Filipino gaming talent on the map during SMASH 2026 and beyond.
