Ragnarok Zero: Global 1st OBT Highlights

Ragnarok Zero: Global, the new subscription-based PC MMORPG, has completed its first Open Beta Test (OBT) on May 29, 2026, Gravity Game Unite revealed.

GGU held the 1st OBT for Southeast Asia, Oceania, and Europe players from May 20 to 28, Malaysia Time. The company checked gameplay quality, server stability, and optimization with this OBT.

Ragnarok Zero Global modernizes Ragnarok Online while adding a new storyline set in the old universe and changing its growth structure and game progression.

Upgraded UI/UX, auto-combat, movement convenience, and camera functions make the game more comfortable.

Overall, ROZ Global OBT participants liked the leveling system and localization. Seven languages are supported for global ease of play.

Moreover, daily free 20,000 Kafra Points were awarded to OBT page attendance participants. Limited titles and costume items were also offered at the OBT to promote participation.

Per GGU, future testing will incorporate OBT survey comments.

GGU further noted that it will organize a Ragnarok Zero Global players meetup in July to engage with gamers before the official launch.

At launch, the game will be the first PC-based Ragnarok IP title to launch a global server throughout Southeast Asia, Oceania, and Europe. This should activate cross-regional user communities. In addition, GGU wants to implement a UGC system that lets players create in-game content.

Harry Choi, Gravity Game Unite president, stated:
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to all users from Southeast Asia, Europe, and Oceania who participated in the OBT. We plan to actively reflect the feedback received during this test into the game. We ask for your continued interest and support for Ragnarok Zero: Global until its official launch.

I would also like to remind you guys that the Ragnarok Zero Global pre-registration event offers various free in-game rewards after launch, so take your chance to register. – PinoyTechSaga
