
Philippine teams Alula SC and Elevate have earned Garena's two sole spots at the Call of Duty: Mobile World Championship 2026 Finals in Mexico City this December.
The two PH squads swept all four Playoffs spots at the Garena Qualifier, with Alula SC completing a comeback against Elevate to claim the championship with a 4-2 Grand Final victory. They also took the top two spots at the recent Garena Summer Invitational, while Elevate will return to the global stage after finishing runner-up at last year's World Championship.
Recap of CODM Champs 2026 Garena Qualifier
Following their first and second place finishes in the Garena Qualifier on August 30, Alula SC and Elevate will represent Garena at the CODM World Championship 2026 Finals. The result followed three weeks of battle between 10 top teams from Thailand, Indonesia, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau, Singapore, Malaysia, and the Philippines.
Elevate, Alula Club, Rival Esports, and Vizualz Skaeri advanced to the August 29–30 Playoffs from the Play-In and Group Stages.
Elevate and Alula SC started well, defeating Vizualz Skaeri and Rival Esports 3-0, respectively. Elevate became the first team to advance to the Grand Final after beating Alula SC 3-0 in the Upper Bracket Final.
Alula SC crushed Rival Esports 3-0 in the Lower Bracket Final to face Elevate for the crown. Eventually, Alula SC won 4-2 in the Grand Final to win the Garena Qualifier.
As champions, Alula SC took home the USD 4,500 grand prize, while runners-up Elevate earned USD 3,000 in consolation.
Further, they will join 14 other teams at the CODM Champs 2026 Finals in Mexico City from December 4 to 6, which will be the tournament's inaugural appearance in the country.
