AcadArena has announced that the National Campus Open S3: League of Legends will start on September 11, 2021. The NCO LoL S3 competition is open to students 16 years of age or above.
According to AcadArena, this is the only national collegiate league that allows players to compete, win prizes, and give them a chance to acquire a scholarship under the Globe-AcadArena Merit Esports Scholarship (G.A.M.E.S).
Participating teams will compete for a PHP 150,000 prize pool of cash, grants, merchandise, and in-game prizes.
Prize Division and Scholarships
National Campus Open S3 LoL (NCO LoL S3) will feature a prize pool of 150,000 Pesos in cash, grants, merchandise, and in-game items. Teams participating from Alliance organizations will also be eligible to apply for a Globe-AcadArena Merit Esports Scholarship (G.A.M.E.S).

1st-2nd: 3,000 Riot Points (x5)
3rd-4th: 1,500 Riot Points (x5)
5th-8th: 750 Riot Points (x5)
NCO LoL S3 Playoff Prizing
Champion: 30,000 PHP Cash, 7,000 Riot Points (x5), Logitech G G502 Mice, AcadArena Gold Medals
2nd: 20,000 PHP Cash, 4,000 Riot Points (x5), AcadArena Silver Medals
3rd-4th: 10,000 PHP Cash, 2,000 Riot Points (x5), AcadArena Bronze Medals
5th-8th: 1,250 Riot Points (x5)

You can register just by creating an account at app.acadarena.com and go to bit.ly/AANCOLoLS3.
You are eligible to join if:
* You are at least Senior High School and 16 years of age at the time of registration.
* You can provide proof of enrollment that shows that you’re currently enrolled in a school.
* You have a team that has at least five (5) members of the same school.
* You have an AcadArena account (all members) via app.acadarena.com.

Tournament Format & Registration
There will be two (2) qualifiers for the National Campus Open: Alliance Qualifiers and Open Qualifiers. Alliance Qualifiers are restricted to teams only from Alliance Schools, and Open Qualifiers will be open to all Schools.
The format of the qualifiers will be a double elimination best-of-1 bracket. The bracket will play out until the allocated qualifier slots match the number of teams left in the bracket.
National Campus Open S3: League of Legends will dedicate five (5) slots during the qualifiers. Three (3) slots will be reserved for the Alliance Exclusive Qualifier winners, with the remaining two (2) slots reserved for winners of the Open Qualifier.

The NCO S3 LoL playoffs will feature eight (8) teams, five (5) from the Alliance and Open qualifiers, and three (3) regional reigning NCO S2 LoL champions.
