Globe brings back its GB to Points promo as part of the telco’s 917 Day Celebration. From September 15 to 30, 2021, Globe and TM users will again have the option to convert their unused data to Globe Rewards points.
917 is Globe’s original and iconic mobile number prefix. Celebrated every September 17, it is about giving back to their loyal customers through exciting rewards and surprises.
During the celebration, Globe offers more ways for all Prepaid, Postpaid, Platinum, TM, and Globe At Home Prepaid WiFi customers to earn Rewards points and use them to participate in the various GDay activities planned for them.
“With the option to convert unused GB to Rewards points, we hope to help them make the most of what they have and also give them more means to share the good with others,” said Bianca Wong, Head of Globe’s Feel Valued Tribe.
The points earned can be redeemed for discounts and freebies from Globe Rewards’ wide range of partners, including video streaming and gaming platforms, restaurants, online shopping, delivery services, and healthcare offers.
Furthermore, extra points may be donated to any of Globe’s 15 community partners, which support various causes ranging from reforestation to health and education – all of which are accessible on the New Globe One app.
Mobile data to Globe Rewards points conversion
Here are the conversion rates of GBs to points for Prepaid and Postpaid:
For Prepaid
1 GB = 1 point
For Postpaid
1 GB = 5 points
Data from expired promos or plans, as well as one-time data offers, data allocated for specific content, and freebie app access, cannot be converted.
