Valve confirms Dota 2 TI10 live audience, reveals New Compendium, HUD updates
Valve has announced that Dota 2’s biggest tournament, The International 10 (TI10), will host a live audience. TI10 will take place from October 7 to 17, 2021, in Arena Națională in Bucharest, Romania. This announcement was made “after careful consideration,” said Valve in a blog post.
According to Valve, all attendees must be fully vaccinated and masked, which means they must have completed their final vaccination at least 10 days before the event. Meanwhile, attendees outside Romania will be subject to any rules and restrictions imposed by their cities and countries of origin.
The Dota 2 TI10 will commence with Group Stage from October 7 to 10, followed by the Main Event at National Arena (Bucharest) from October 12 to 17.
Dota 2 TI10 Tickets are available in three packages:
  • Midweek 1 (October 12 and 13): 249 Lei (~PHP 2,900)
  • Midweek 2 (October 14 and 15): 249 Lei (~PHP 2,900)
  • Finals (October 16 and 17): 999 Lei (~PHP 11,800)
TI10 tickets will go on sale on September 22, 2021. Tickets are available for purchase here: theinternational2021.entertix.ro.

TI10 Compendium

All Dota 2 players, regardless of whether they own the 2021 Nemestice Battle Pass, will have access to TI10’s Compendium.
The player cards from TI10 are included in this Compendium. Ten packs containing five players each have been distributed for free to all users. Users can also earn a new pack by winning one Dota 2 match per day. Additionally, a team pack is available for USD 0.49, with 50% of each purchase benefiting the team. Team packs ensure that the pack’s best card (guaranteed gold or silver) is from that team.
All Supporters Clubs are also now half price. In the coming days, additional sections of the Compendium will be released, including predictions, fantasy, and rewards featuring legacy items.

Spectator HUD Updates

Valve has made some improvements to the game’s user interface, including Status Indicators, Info Graphs, Camera Options, and Playback Controls.
One of the notable changes in the new update is that players and spectators will now be able to view the BKB duration, Aegis timer, and shared Tango timer in their inventory. Additionally, players can ping the Aegis in their inventory to inform their allies of the remaining time on it.
For spectators, there is now a combo graph that displays win probability, gold, and XP. Moreover, this update includes a “momentum indicator” indicating which team has performed better over the last two minutes.
Other changes have been made to the Camera and Playback.
