Dota 2 teams with PH players will enter TI10 main event

T1, the Southeast Asian squad of Filipino professional gamers Karl Jayme and Kuku Palad, Evil Geniuses (EG), the team of famous Meepo player Abed Yusop, and Fnatic, the team of veteran Pinoy Dota players DJ and Raven, are advancing to the main event of The International 10 (TI10), Dota 2’s biggest annual tournament after getting through the group stage.

Chinese team Invictus Gaming (IG) dominated Group A with a 6-2-0 score. For Group B, another China-based team, the PSG.LGD, has topped, recording a 7-1-0 score.

Squads with Filipino players in their lineup (T1, Evil Geniuses, and Fnatic) overcame elimination in the group stage after South American teams Thunder Predator and SG esports scored 0-0-8 and 1-0-7, respectively. Each team earns USD 100,000.
