NetEase Games has officially launched the crossover event between its survival horror game Identity V and the famous anime series Detective Conan.
Gosho Aoyama, born Yoshimasa Aoyama, is the author and illustrator of the Japanese manga series Case Closed. The story follows a high school detective named Shinichi Kudo. During his investigation, he is attacked by members of a crime syndicate known as the Black Organization.
Shinichi Kudo awakens to find himself transformed into a child after being forced to consume an experimental poison. He continues to operate under the new identity of Conan Edogawa, dealing with cases and tracking down the Black Organization.
On the other hand, something strange occurred at the enigmatic Oletus Manor. All invited detectives gathered at the scene to ascertain the truth. When the activity begins, various players will dress up in Cases Closed costumes in order to uncover the truth about the fifth survivor in the Manor. The danger is advancing, and the case is filled with doubts, but as long as they maintain a level head and use sound logic, all problems will eventually be resolved.
Identity V x Case Closed Crossover Characters
Shinichi Kudo is a well-known high school detective who has aided in the resolution of numerous complex cases. Even after assuming the identity of Conan Edogawa, he is still able to uncover the truth. Identity V’s Orpheus is the crossover character for Kudo. Two S costumes are available, including “Shinichi Kudo” and “Conan Edogawa.”
Ran Mori is Shinichi Kudo’s childhood sweetheart, who now looks after Conan, the young boy who lives at home with his family. Identity V’s Martha Behamfil assumes the role of Ran Mori, donning A Costume “Ran Mori.”
Kogoro Mori, also known as “The Sleeping Kogoro,” is Ran’s father. Although he appears to be baffled, Kogoro possesses exceptional execution and wisdom. Identity V’s Freddy Riley plays Kogoro Mori, dressed in the A Costume “Kogoro Mori.”
Shiho Miyano is the Black Organization’s scientist and has assumed the alias Ai Haibara. Through his extraordinary talent, the perfumer has created a fragrance of forgetfulness that transports you back in time. Identity V’s Vera Nair takes the role of Miyano wearing A Costume Shiho Miyano (Ai Haibara).
Heiji Hattori is also a famous Osaka high school detective who excels at kendo. He generally travels by motorcycle. Identity V’s William Ellis is the crossover character for Hattori. He will be dressed in A Costume “Heiji Hattori.”
Identity V x Detective Conan Crossover Event Details
The crossover treasure box, The Fifth Survivor (the first tale), was officially launched in the first crossover with Case Closed, bringing the following four costumes:
- A Costume Lawyer – Kogoro Mori
- A Costume Air Force – Ran Mori
- A Costume Perfumer – Shiho Miyano (Ai Haibara)
- A Costume Forward – Heiji Hattori
Simultaneously, the crossover gift package, An Invitation from a Famous Detective, was released, featuring the following: S Costume Detective – Shinichi Kudo and S Costume Detective – Conan Edogawa, as well as a variety of special characters’ personal belongings, including avatars, graffiti such as sleeping Kogoro dolls, Detective badges, and culprit dolls. Numerous characters and objects have been restored in the game, allowing players to reflect on the anime that has touched and delighted us.
Concurrently, celebrations for the crossover of Identity V and Case Closed have begun. During the crossover, participants who share KV for the first time will receive 100 inspiration awards, and those who complete the crossover task will receive gifts, including crossover treasures. Plays can win up to five treasures and your preferred costume.
