OG Ceb to play in TI10 after recent eye surgery
OG Esports revealed earlier that their offlaner Sébastien “Ceb” Debs had undergone eye surgery, and there was a chance Ceb would have to miss The International 10 (TI10) as he was still recovering. Fortunately, it seems as though Ceb will compete in Dota 2’s biggest tournament alongside his teammates on the active roster.
In a Twitter post by OG, the Europe-based esports organization announced that Ceb will be playing at TI10 following his surgery because of a retinal detachment in his left eye and praised the player for choosing to compete.
“Once again proving himself as a role model of dedication to his craft, Ceb IS gonna be playing TI10,” said OG Esports.
Along with the announcement is a 10-minute short documentary featuring Ceb’s road to TI10 and his relationships with his family.
At the end of the video, an upcoming episode highlighting the team’s carry, SumaiL, was teased.
OG made history by becoming the first team to win back-to-back TI championships in 2018 and 2019. Ceb played a critical role in those championship campaigns with his leadership and exceptional offlane play.
The Dota 2 TI10 will run from October 7 through October 17. The tournament will feature 18 teams competing for the coveted Aegis of Champions and a part of the over USD 40 million prize pool.
OG Esports roster:
  • Syed Sumail “SumaiL” Hassan
  • Topias Miikka “Topson” Taavitsainen
  • Martin “Saksa” Sazdov
  • Johan “N0tail” Sundstein
  • Sébastien “Ceb” Debs
The squad’s head coach is Mikhail “Misha” Agatov. Meanwhile, the team’s assistant coach is Titouan “Sockshka” Merloz.
