Converge announces new FiberX plans, starting at P1500 with 50Mbps
Converge has announced its latest FiberX plans with massive permanent speed boosts. The telco’s most affordable FiberX Plan 1500, previously at 35Mbps download speeds, is now faster at 50Mbps.
Meanwhile, the FiberX Plan 3500 received a fourfold speed boost to 800 Mbps from its previous speed of 200Mbps. Still, all Converge FiberX residential plans have no data cap, meaning you can surf, stream, and game all you want.

For new Converge FiberX applications, 1 government or company ID card and proof of billing or residency are required. In addition, all plans have a lock-in period of 24 months and an installation fee of PHP 2,500.

Converge ICT has recently finished the installation of a PHP 6-billion subsea cable that connects the major islands in Visayas and Mindanao with Luzon. The subsea cables spread 1,800 kilometers with 20 landing stations.
To recall, the free speed boost for its unlimited fiber internet plan is part of Converge’s plan for 2021.
