According to Converge CEO and co-founder Dennis Anthony Uy, they have “achieved a record rollout of 654,188 ports in the third quarter of 2021 alone” and are “glad to see a healthy uptake as 20% of the fiber rollouts were in these areas.”
In addition, the port deployment enables the fiber broadband operator to reach more unserved and underserved areas in the Philippines, accelerating its goal of covering 55% of households with high-speed fiber connectivity by 2023 by two years.
