Filipino game studio Secret 6 has announced that its first-person shooter game “Project Xandata” is launching in Steam Early Access on January 26, 2022, following multiple beta tests.
Developed by Secret 6, a veteran game development studio based in the Philippines, Madrid, and San Francisco, Project Xandata is a fast-paced, 3v3 first-person shooter with extensive customization, combined sci-fi & fantasy elements, and skill-based gameplay.
Players will assume the role of “Xandat,” a warrior equipped with ancient technology known as MagiTech that enables him to wield elemental power.
Project Xandata will feature three classes on its Steam Early Access launch, including the following:
- Agent – agile and stealthy, capable of going invisible and creating clones
- Juggernaut – explosions specialist who can shoot shoulder rockets or even uppercut an enemy
- Marksman – a long-range character who can blind or push back enemies
Each class has two elements, four neutral skills, and four additional skills per element.
The shooter game has several game modes, namely:
- Skirmish – it is a time-limited race to reach 5,000 points. Each elimination gives 100 points. In addition, bonus points will be given depending on how players eliminate their enemies.
- Corruption – a team must collect 100 shards to win. Eliminated players drop one shard. An obelisk also spawns around the map that drops eight shards when destroyed.
- Overcharge – each team must secure the discharged battery, bring it to a Lightning Rod, and charge it 100%. They need to defend the battery well because the enemy will try their best to steal it from them.
- Free For All – in this new game mode, six players load in, and everyone is an enemy.
Moreover, the Annihilation game mode might be enabled sometime after launch. It is a race to win five rounds and tasks both teams with the goal of wiping each other out. Each team is given three revives per round.

- High Suludlan
- Sundown Forge
- Wellspring Biotech
All players will have access to the following nine weapons:
- Amorsolo (Precision Pistol)
- Askal (Submachine Gun)
- Birang (Buster Pistol)
- Debt Unpaid (Precision Assault Rifle)
- Favorhouse CC (Sniper Rifle)
- Guillotine-97 (Pump Action Shotgun)
- Haribon (Rocket Launcher)
- Ironbark (Marksman Rifle)
- Splinter (Burst Rifle)
Players can customize their loadout with up to 18 different perk combinations, allowing them to experiment with a variety of different playstyles.
The Prestige Pass will allow players to earn cosmetics and in-game currency.
Project Xandata has been recognized with numerous awards, including Best in Technology at Level Up KL’s SEA Game Awards 2017 and both the People’s Choice Award and Best Desktop/Downloadable at Game Connection America 2018. The indie FPS was also voted the most popular Pinoy-made PC game by local TV show “Ang Pinaka (The Most).”
