Nexplay Evos’ coach Setsuna “AkoSi Dogie” Ignacio has revealed that he revived his former esports organization, Aether Esports, and is now looking to recruit multiple teams for various esports titles.
“Hanap tayo ng players sa CODM, Wild Rift, pati PUBG Mobile. Basically, halos lahat ng esport sa mobile (We’re looking for players for CODM [COD Mobile], Wild Rift, and PUBG Mobile. Basically, every mobile esports),” said Dogie.
Dogie also said that the first five players of the Nexplay 2.0 Mobile Legends squad would transfer to Aether Esports with plans of adding five more players soon. Moreover, Dogie laid out the requirements for each mobile esports title for those interested to apply to his team.
“For CODM guys, mas gusto namin squad na agad eh, para may chemistry na, prefer namin ‘yun. ‘Di na kami kukuha ng pa-indi-individual (For CODM guys, we prefer a whole squad, so they already have chemistry. We don’t like to acquire them individually),” noted Dogie.
“Sa PUBG Mobile ganun din (It’s also the same with PUBG Mobile),” added Ignacio.
While Dogie would prefer to acquire a full team for Wild Rift, he thinks that the mobile MOBA game’s player base is small enough for him to quickly form a five-man team.
“Sa Wild Rift, if possible ganun or hindi, ta-try nating kumuha ng individual. Konti lang player base ng Wild Rift eh (Squad or not, we’ll just have to see if we’ll have to go for individual [recruitment] because the players in Wild Rift are limited),” said Dogie.
“Napaka-dead ng scene nila. Super dead ng scene nila. (Their [esports] scene is so dead. It’s super dead),” added Dogie.
This plan developed after Dogie announced his departure from Nexplay Esports.
As of the moment, it isn’t yet confirmed whether Aether Esports will be competing in the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League (MPL) PH Season 10.
