OPPO has announced that the registration for OPPO Game On Cup 2022, a Mobile Legends tournament, is extended until May 29.
While registration for the tournament began on May 4, you still have until May 29 to register. The competition is seeking 128 teams at the jumping-off point. Here is all you need to know about the OPPO Game On Cup 2022.
Requirements
Each squad shall have six to seven members, including five starters, optional substitutes, coaches, and managers.
All players and reserves must be eligible to participate throughout the course of the event. In addition, each player must be at least 18 years old upon registering. Minors who are 17 years old and below are not permitted to participate in the tournament.
Game Format
The OPPO Game On Cup 2022 consists of four rounds: the Qualifiers Phase 1 and Phase 2, and the Playoffs Day 1 and Day 2.
Phase 1 of the Qualifiers runs from June 2 through June 3. It is a single-elimination round in which teams compete in best-of-one matches. If your team finishes in the top 16, you will advance to the second phase of the qualifiers.
The Qualifiers Phase 2 will be held on June 4 and 5. Additionally, it is a single-elimination phase. Nonetheless, competitors will compete in best-of-three matches. The top four teams in each group will advance to the playoffs.
Playoffs Day 1 and Day 2 are both single-elimination rounds. On June 17, teams will compete in best-of-three matches during Day 1. The second day of the playoffs will take place on June 26. Those who have the opportunity to advance to the semi-finals and bronze match will play best-of-three, while those who qualify for the championship match will play best-of-five.
In addition to OPPO devices, winners will receive the following cash prizes: Php 50,000 for first place, Php 30,000 for second place, Php 15,000 for third place, and Php 5,000 for fourth place.
The OPPO Philippines Facebook page will broadcast the OPPO Game On Cup 2022 Qualifiers Phase 2 and Day 1 of the Playoffs. The second day of the playoffs will be held at the Central Atrium of Mall of Asia (MOA) in Pasay City.
