SSS or the Social Security System has announced that members may update their contact information online starting May 16, 2022, after the government-run pension fund resumed the said online updating of records on the My.SSS portal.

How to update your SSS contact information via online?

You can update your contact info by going to My.SSS website (https://ift.tt/aJmqY0f). Log in to your My.SSS account, then hover to the “Member Info” menu and select “Update Contact Info.” From there, you can update your contact numbers, e-mail addresses, and mailing addresses, except your home address.
After submitting your updated contact information, SSS will send a notification message to your existing or new e-mail address and mobile number. You just need to confirm your request to update your contact details by clicking the link sent to you.
You only have three days to confirm your request because the link will immediately expire after that period, and you will have to repeat the process once again. After confirming your request, the updated contact information will take effect after two days, and SSS will notify you that your contact details have been updated.

In a statement, SSS President and CEO Michael Regino said members using their My.SSS account could update or change their contact details, such as telephone number, mobile number, mailing address, foreign address, and e-mail address, without going to any SSS branch to file their member data change request.
Those without contact info other than their mobile number may also update their information. Members without registered mobile numbers with SSS, on the other hand, must visit a branch office to submit their cellphone number using the Member Data Change Request Form, set a branch appointment through their My.SSS account, or conduct walk-in transactions according to the schedule based on the last digit of their SSS number.
The state-run social insurance program has halted the online updating of contact information on My.SSS as of August 3, 2021, in order to improve the online portal and bolster its security features to safeguard its members’ sensitive information.
The online updating of members’ contact info has been reinstated to provide members with a more convenient and secure method for updating their SSS records.
Regino advised all members to provide their most up-to-date contact information, as updates on their SSS transactions are communicated using these details.
