Nothing, the tech company by OnePlus co-founder and former CEO Carl Pei, has launched its first TWS earphones in the Philippines, called Nothing ear (1).
Marketed as Carbon Neutral earbuds, the Nothing Ear 1 features a unique transparent design, powerful 11.6mm speaker drivers with sound by Teenage Engineering, Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), IPX4 splash resistance, and up to 34 hours of battery life.
The ANC feature has two modes that users can easily switch from. The Light mode for moderate noise cancellation and Maximum mode when commuting or in places with higher noise levels.
The 11.6mm dynamic driver offers “advanced” bass, mid, and treble performance.
The new wireless earbuds also feature Clear Voice Technology and three high-definition mics for clear voice calls.
The Ear 1 can last for 5 hours of listening time with a total of 34 hours with the charging case. It comes with fast and wireless charging capabilities.
The Nothing ear (1) wireless earphones are also light as they weigh only 4.7 grams each.
Other highlights include in-ear detection, fast pairing, and IPx4 Splash Proof. It has its own iOS/Android app and is compatible with Android 5.1 and above and iOS 11 and above. In terms of connectivity, it supports Bluetooth 5.2.
The Nothing ear (1) is available in White and Black colors with a suggested retail price of PHP 5,990.
