realme has announced that its narzo sub-brand is now an independent brand, with the former focusing on mid-range to flagship smartphones while the latter focusing on the entry-level market.

Along with the announcement, narzo has launched two of its budget 5G phones in the Philippines, the Narzo 50 5G and 50 Pro 5G. Check out their full specs, features, and price below.

The narzo 50 Pro 5G features a 6.4-inch 90Hz AMOLED screen with FHD+ resolution (1080 x 2400 pixels) and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The back panel houses a 48MP primary camera alongside an 8MP ultrawide shooter and a 2MP macro lens. On the front, there’s a 16-megapixel selfie camera. Under the hood runs a MediaTek Dimensity 920 octa-core processor paired with 8GB LPDDR4X RAM (+5GB Dynamic RAM) and 128GB UFS 2.2 expandable storage (via microSD).

The realme narzo 50 Pro 5G boots Realme UI 3.0 on top of Android 12 OS. It is also packed with a large 5,000mAh battery with support for USB-C 33W fast charging. Other specs include an in-display fingerprint scanner, stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a Vapor Chamber Cooling System.

Meanwhile, the vanilla Narzo 50 5G gets a larger 6.6-inch LCD with FHD+ resolution (1080 x 2408 pixels) and a 90Hz screen refresh rate. The phone is powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 810 chipset alongside 6GB RAM (+5GB Dynamic RAM) and 128GB storage. Further, it has the same 5,000mAh battery with 33W Dart Charge.

Moreover, there’s a dual-camera setup on the back with a 48MP primary shooter and a 2MP depth lens. The display’s notch houses an 8MP selfie camera.

It runs on an Android 12-based Realme UI 3.0 skin. realme narzo 50 5G also gets stereo speakers, a headphone jack, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

The narzo 50 5G 6GB+128GB has a suggested retail price of PHP 12,999. Meanwhile, the narzo 50 Pro 5G 8GB+128GB is priced at PHP 15,999.

Both smartphones get PHP 2,000 off their suggested retail price from July 15 to 20, 2022, if bought through Lazada.

Also, these devices will be available in narzo kiosks and stores nationwide starting July 15.
