Xiaomi has released its new Redmi Note 12 Series smartphones in China, comprising the Redmi Note 12 with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 chipset, Redmi Note 12 Pro and Redmi Note 12 Pro+ with MediaTek's Dimensity 1080 SoC, along with Redmi Note 12 Explorer Edition with 210W fast charging. Redmi Note 12 Pro+ and Note 12 Pro Key Features
Redmi Note 12 Pro and Redmi Note 12 Pro+ share nearly the same specifications, including 6.67-inch OLED screens with Full HD+ resolution and high 120Hz refresh rates. Both smartphones feature the MediaTek Dimensity 1080 chipset, up to 12GB of RAM, and up to 256GB of non-expandable storage.
Further, Redmi Note 12 Pro Plus features a 200-megapixel ISOCELL HPX sensor, the sharpest camera currently available on any smartphone. It utilizes pixel binning, quad phase detection (QPD) autofocus, 14-bit color, HDR, 8K video recording, and 120fps slow-mo at 4K.
On the other hand, Redmi Note 12 Pro has a 50-megapixel IMX766 sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS).
For the rest of the cameras, both phones share the same 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, 2-megapixel depth sensor, and 16-megapixel selfie snapper.
Moreover, Both the Redmi Note 12 Pro and Pro+ have 5,000 mAh batteries, with the Pro charging at up to 67W while the Pro+ can charge at up to 120W. Both handsets feature MIUI 13 skin based on Android 12 OS and a headphone jack.
