Nokia G22, C22, C32 with Unisoc chips, specs revealed

Nokia's latest budget smartphones, Nokia G22, Nokia C22 and Nokia C32, were revealed at MWC 2023 in Barcelona. All of the phones are powered by Unisoc chipsets. Check out their specs and price below.

HMD Global-owned Nokia claims that the G22 focuses on repairability and sustainability, the C32 prioritizes image quality, and the C22 is centered around durability.

Nokia G22 specs and features

Nokia has partnered with the global repair community iFixit to provide the required tools, guides, and parts that users will need when fixing the phone's damaged screen, bad battery, and bent charging port.

According to the Finnish mobile brand, Nokia G22 users may replace their battery in around 5 minutes, while for the display, it will take 20 minutes.

The company also emphasizes its commitment to sustainability with a back cover made entirely of recycled plastic.

When it comes to specs, Nokia G22 features a 6.5-inch HD+ 90Hz LCD with Gorilla Glass 3 screen protection. It is also equipped with a 12nm 1.6GHz Unisoc T606 octa-core processor integrated with Mali-G57 MP1 GPU. The mobile platform is paired with 4GB RAM, 64GB or 128GB expandable storage and a large 5,000mAh battery with support for 20W USB-C fast charging.

For cameras, it has a 50MP main sensor, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP macro lens. Meanwhile, the front-facing camera has an 8MP sensor.

Other highlights include Android 12 OS, 4G LTE connectivity, dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and an IP52 rating (dust and splash resistant). Nokia G22 also comes with 2 years of major OS updates, 3 years of security updates, and a three-year warranty. You can also choose between the colors Meteor Grey and Lagoon Blue.

Nokia C22 and C32 specs and features

The Nokia C22 is intended to be a highly durable product due to its IP52 rating (splash and dust protection), toughened 2.5D display glass, and rigid metal chassis encased in a polycarbonate unibody. The device is powered by a Unisoc SC9863A octa-core processor and includes up to 3GB of RAM and 64GB of expandable storage. The device is powered by a 5,000mAh battery rated to last for three days and supports 10W charging. The device is equipped with a 6.5-inch HD+ IPS LCD display, a 13MP + 2MP dual rear camera system, and an 8MP selfie camera. It supports 4G LTE, has a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, and operates on Android 13 software (Go Edition). Nokia C22 comes in two colors: Sand and Midnight Black.

Meanwhile, the Nokia C32's 50-megapixel primary camera provides the best imaging experience among its C-series lineup, the company claims. In addition to the primary sensor, there is a 2MP macro snapper and an 8MP front-facing camera. Moreover, the Nokia C32 is equipped with up to 4GB of RAM and up to 128GB of expandable storage. It comes in three different colors: Charcoal, Autumn Green, and Beach Pink. The rest of the device's specs are comparable to the Nokia C22 described previously.
