How to Unlock/Openline Globe Prepaid WiFi Huawei B312-939 and B535-932 Permanently

Globe At Home Prepaid WiFi modem is usually locked to the Globe network only. You can't use other sims like Smart, TNT, Sun, and DITO besides Globe Prepaid, TM, and GOMO. This becomes a huge frustration, especially when Globe's signal is weak in your area and you need to use a different sim in your Home Prepaid WiFi. Or maybe your mobile data promo has ended, and you need to switch to a different SIM card that has internet data.

To get the most out of your Globe Prepaid WiFi experience, you should be able to use any SIM card. This is especially useful when using a Virtual Private Network (VPN) or HTTP Injector for anonymity or free internet. A 4G LTE modem or router which is not locked to a specific network is commonly referred to as a 4G LTE modem openline.

Globe has various 4G LTE modems, and among its popular models are Huawei B312-939 and B535-932, which are locked to its network. Thankfully, these Globe At Home Prepaid WiFi models can be unlocked with just a few easy steps, so there's no need to stress yourself purchasing different modems.

Steps for requesting SIM Lock Code (Unlock Code):

  1. Log in to your Facebook account and send a message to the official Globe Telecom page (https://ift.tt/UcEr9zL). Chat with an agent. They might ask you for your contact information, such as mobile number, email address and name.
  2. Explain to the agent that you want your modem to be unlocked and need the SIM Lock Code and admin account login credentials (username and password). If they refuse to acknowledge your request or are just unaware, then you can provide them with a screenshot of the NTC memorandum Circular 01-05-2019, also known as Mandatory Unlocking of Mobile Phones and Devices After Lock-In Period and Compliance with Terms and Conditions Contained in Subscription Agreements.
  3. If the customer support agent knows the unlocking, they should ask for your modem's IMEI, Serial Number and SIM Number (if applicable). Provide them with these details and wait for 3 to 5 working days before they send you the SIM Lock Code/Unlock Code and the admin login credentials for your modem. Do not share these details, as they are for your device only.

Step for unlocking your Globe At Home Prepaid WiFi modem:

  1. Insert a non-Globe SIM card (Smart, TNT, or DITO) into your Globe Prepaid WiFi kit.
  2. Open your web browser (Google Chrome or Firefox) and go to http://192.168.254.254.
  3. On the "Unlock device" page, enter the SIM Lock Code provided to you by the Globe customer support agent and click the "Save" button.
  4. Enter the admin login credentials and click the "Log In" button.
  5. Wait for a few moments until the "Success" message appears.
