2023 VCT PH Split 2 features P1.5 million prize pool

Riot Games has revealed that Valorant Challengers Philippines (VCT PH) - Split 2 has a total prize pool of Php 1.5 million. Eight teams will be competing for the lion's share of the prize pool. The national tournament runs from March 29 to June 4, 2023.

This time, however, the stakes are higher, as the winner will automatically advance to the Ascension Tournament, the only regional qualifying path where the local champion will have the opportunity to represent the Philippines and compete against the best Challengers teams from the Asia-Pacific region. The winner will then qualify for the Valorant Champions Tour Pacific League in 2024.

Here's the breakdown of the Php 1.5 million prize pool.
  • 1st place - Php 600,000
  • 2nd place - Php 300,000
  • 3rd place - Php 200,000
  • 4th place - Php 150,000
  • 5th and 6th place finishers - Php 75,000 each
  • 7th and 8th place finishers - Php 50,000 each

As in previous iterations, VCT PH - Split 2 will utilize a single round-robin format, with the top six teams advancing to a best-of-three double-elimination series in the Playoffs. Then, as a special treat for Filipino gamers, the final three days of the Playoffs (June 2 to 4) will be held on-site at the very first VCT LAN event in the country, giving Valorant fans a chance to cheer on their favorite teams and players in person.
