Besides its participation in the NTC-led SIM registration, Globe previously launched a number of initiatives on the ground to facilitate SIM registration for customers. Its online platform [https://ift.tt/PAsdevM] and the GlobeOne app are also accessible 24 hours a day, seven days a week, for SIM registration.

Globe is committed to providing on-site assistance for SIM card registration to all of its customers, particularly senior citizens, individuals with disabilities, pregnant women, basic phone users, and those without internet access. The company strives to provide every customer with the assistance necessary to complete the registration process efficiently.

For the uninitiated, the SIM Registration Act mandates the registration of all SIMs to combat the rising incidence of criminal activities that exploit unregistered SIM cards. This essential measure ensures that every mobile number is associated with a verified user, making it simpler to track down and hold accountable those who use mobile devices for illegal activities.

Earlier in March, Globe deployed 46 SIM registration booths across Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.
