Samsung Galaxy A14 4G is pretty much the same as Galaxy A14 5G, which was released in January. However, there are some differences, including their chipset, display, rear camera system, and connectivity.
The Galaxy A14 LTE runs on a 2GHz unnamed octa-core chipset, which is a bit slower than the MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor found on the 5G variant with 2.2GHz clock speed.
For the display, the screen refresh rate has decreased from 90Hz to 60Hz.
While the Samsung Galaxy A14 4G features a 13-megapixel selfie camera like the 5G model, its triple camera system on the back is different. On both smartphones, a 50-megapixel camera is accompanied by a 2-megapixel macro lens, but the 2-megapixel depth sensor on the 5G variant is replaced with a 5MP ultrawide camera on the 4G model.
In the connectivity department, as its name suggests, Samsung Galaxy A14 4G is only limited to 4G connectivity. It's also worth noting that it utilizes Bluetooth 5.1 instead of 5.2.
The Samsung Galaxy A14 4G also features a 6.6-inch LCD with FullHD+ resolution, a USB-C port, NFC support, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a microSD card slot for expanding storage by up to 1TB. The device has a side-mounted fingerprint reader for biometric authentication and a battery capacity of 5,000 mAh with 15W charging. It uses One UI 5 based on Android 13 OS out of the box.
