Globe announced its 2X Rewards Promo, offering double Globe Rewards points to users who register their Globe or TM SIMs via the GlobeOne App before the deadline.
According to Globe Telecom, this incentive is available to Globe Prepaid and TM customers who register their SIM cards with just a week left before the April 26 deadline, as well as all subscribers who have registered earlier.
Through the 2X Rewards Campaign, Globe Prepaid subscribers with PHP 90 and above promo/load transactions and TM customers with PHP 50 and above transactions will get twice the Rewards when they register via the GlobeOne app.

For those unaware, Globe Rewards is the telco's method of rewarding customers for their continued use of Globe or TM products and services. Subscribers can earn points through Prepaid reloads, Postpaid monthly consumption, Globe At Home broadband plans, and Prepaid WiFi. These can be redeemed for data promos and digital vouchers, used as payment at partner businesses, or donated to a charity of their choosing.
Globe said that the 2X Rewards promo aims to encourage new and existing Globe and TM prepaid subscribers to comply with Republic Act No. 11934, also known as the SIM Registration Act, which aims to curb fraud and other forms of cybercrime by establishing a registry of SIM users.

Globe and TM SIMs may be registered for free anytime and anywhere through the SIM registration portal [https://ift.tt/lib2nZ5] and the GlobeOne app. Failure to comply within the specified period will result in automatic SIM deactivation.
Globe's efforts to register its subscribers nationwide continue to intensify. The telco offers SIM Registration Assistance in Globe Stores and EasyHubs across Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. It also deploys booths in remote areas to assist those who have difficulty registering their SIM cards, particularly seniors, PWDs, pregnant women, those without internet access, and those using basic phones.
Moreover, the company partnered with local government units (LGUs), groceries, and malls in putting up SIM registration booths in more than 100 sites nationwide.
As of April 17, 2023, Globe had recorded over 31 million SIM registrations out of its 86.7 million subscriber base.
