In an SMS advisory from GCash, it says that Shopee will no longer accept GGives and GCredit as payment options beginning April 30, 2023.

SMS Advisory from GCash regarding GGives and GCredit Deactivation in Shopee

With Shopee ending support for aforementioned GCash's financing services, here are some important things you need to know.

Regular GCash payments will remain in Shopee. Meanwhile, GGives and GCredit will continue to be available at other GCash partner stores.

Previous purchases in the e-commerce platform Shopee using GGives and GCredit will still be valid and active. You will still need to pay the loans through the GCash App.

If you want to receive a refund for any pending or canceled orders that were purchased using GCredit or GGives on Shopee, you may contact Shopee's customer service for refunds regarding canceled or unsuccessful orders.

For those uninitiated, GCredit is a digital credit line offered by mobile wallet service GCash, offering a credit line of up to PHP 30,000 that allows users to instantly pay for their online transactions at a later date to GCash partner stores and billers with no additional requirements needed.

Meanwhile, GGives is an easy installment payment option, where users can purchase what they want and pay over time through its light and flexible installment plans that will fit their budget when they shop in their desired GCash partner stores.
