The crossover event between Free Fire and Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is set to release in June 2023, announced Garena.
The collaboration between the famous battle royale game and the well-loved superhero franchise will bring a series of co-branded content.
Beginning on June 1, players will have access to limited edition in-game collectibles, a Spider-Verse character card collection event, and a limited-time map inspired by the film's characters.
Fans and players from both communities can anticipate the worldwide release of "Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse" on May 31 and will be able to spot Free Fire easter eggs concealed throughout the movie.
Spider-Man Miles Morales, Spider-Gwen Stacy, and Spider-Man 2099 will join fan-favorite Free Fire characters Kelly, Shirou, and Maxim in this crossover event.
Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse will arrive in Free Fire on May 31, 2023, beginning with reskins of the airplane and billboards, followed by a screening of the film trailer within the game. All participants can also redeem free souvenirs featuring Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse.
Between June 1 and June 18, players can participate in a themed card collection event, ENTER THE SPIDER-VERSE, for a chance to win a Spider-Verse parachute and emote. To win, participants must collect specific sets of cards depicting characters from Free Fire and the film.
In the time-limited "Spider-Verse" Parkour mode launching on June 9, players will be able to don spider suits and fire web shooters at other players against a modern city inspired by the film.
To celebrate the partnership, Free Fire will release a series of remix videos and themed assets showcasing the various aspects of Spider-Man Miles Morales, Spider-Gwen Stacy, and Spider-Man 2099 as they embark on their respective adventures in the Free Fire universe.
Fans with keen eyesight will also be able to catch a glimpse of Free Fire in the film that will be released on May 31, which will feature several elements from the game, including the iconic Free Fire Legendary Cobra backpack.
