Overview
The eGov PH app was launched by the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) with the approval of President Ferdinand "Bongbong" R. Marcos Jr. on June 2, 2023.
According to DICT USec. David Almirol Jr., eGov PH app is "the first one-stop-shop platform for local and national government services." The system "will streamline processes and transactions" and offer "total ease of doing business to all Filipinos."
Further, President Bongbong Marcos highlighted the importance of digitalization in government transactions and services that will assist in simplifying processes, boosting the economy, and fighting corruption.
DICT Secretary Ivan John Uy said that they "continue to promote ease of doing business while curbing red tape in government transactions through traceability and accountability."
The eGOV PH app will give users access to their accounts and transact with Local Government Units (LGUs) and National Government Agencies (NGAs). They can also access sections like tourism, jobs, travel, and health.
With the government-led mobile app, users can access all their valid IDs, such as their national ID, driver's license, and passport, in digital format.
Additionally, users can register their SIM cards via the eGOV PH Super App.
The government agency is also working on an e-commerce portal with the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), which will enable Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) to offer their products and services online.

Step 1: Download the app
Install the eGov PH App on your smartphone or tablet through the Apple App Store (for iOS devices) or Google Play Store (for Android).
Step 2: Sign up for an account
Provide your mobile number and authenticate with a One-Time Pin (OTP).
Step 3: Verify your identity
Enter your basic information and complete the facial recognition technology.
